This research proposal examines the economic impact of Korean immigration in Fort Lee, New Jersey, a town known for its significant Korean American population. The study assesses how Korean immigrants have contributed to the local economy through business development. By analyzing demographic data and economic indicators, this research will explore the roles of Korean-owned businesses in revitalizing Fort Lee’s commercial landscape. The findings are expected to offer valuable insights into how immigrant communities, particularly Korean Americans, drive economic growth and shape the socio-economic fabric of small towns in the United States. This research will look at three types of businesses, restaurants, stores, and salons, to show how they positively impact the growth of the local economy.
